Hey there, everyone!
We hope you had a lovely weekend! To reiterate from our last update, thank you again for the support. It truly means the world to us (and fellow creatives)! You've really blown us out of the water with this campaign; y'all are wonderful! In the final hours, you folks pushed our total raised past $110,000! Let's goooo!
MOVING FORWARD...
Here is what you can expect in the coming weeks and months.
- First, Kickstarter will begin processing payments for your pledges. That will take approximately 2 weeks. If you did not use Pledge Over Time, this will be the full amount of your pledge. If you opted to use Pledge Over Time, this will be the first 1/3rd of your total pledge.

If you opted OUT for Pledge Over Time, you will receive your survey on or around September 14th. If you opted IN for Pledge Over Time, your second payment will be on or around September 28th, followed by your third and final payment on or around October 28th.
- Once the final payment has been made for Pay Over Time backers, we will send out all remaining surveys to the email addresses you have attached to your Kickstarter account. We expect this to occur by or around October 28th.

Answer your survey questions and grab any extra Add-Ons you want. For those of you asking how to make your tier selections, you'll do that here. Due to the shipping beta test, shipping will be charged at this time.

As we get all of the products made, you can expect to see an update from us 1-2 times a month. So stay tuned here for all the latest!

Once we have the products and are ready to start fulfillment, we will post an update and send an email giving everyone 48 hours to update their addresses if needed. Once that window closes, you will not be able to update your address yourself and will need to contact us directly to make those changes.
- With addresses locked, we will start packing and shipping. This final step will take some time. We appreciate your patience. <3

Please be aware that the times mentioned above are estimates. We try to stick to them as much as possible, but sometimes it takes an extra day or two to move on to the next phase of the process.
SHIPPING & HANDLING
We've gotten a range of feedback over the last year about how to make our books more accessible to everyone, and one of the most common places we hear we could make a simple change is by charging shipping later, so there's an additional opportunity to split the product costs.
All shipping and handling fees will be processed on BackerKit when you fill out your backer survey, which will be sent out 2-3 weeks after the campaign ends.
THIS WILL NOT CHANGE THE SHIPPING COST. We have outlined what every item's shipping will be post-campaign below so you can account for it immediately!

Hey all!
Heather here while Bryce is away at WorldCon this weekend! On behalf of all of us at Wraithmarked, we just wanted to say a massive THANK YOU for not only your support on this campaign, but your enthusiasm to stand behind human artists. This has been an incredible journey and one we've been wanting to make a reality for several years. Thank you also to Spiridon for your help making this passion project come true!
As per usual, this update is just a quick flyby hello to let you know that more information about what to expect in the future is coming next week! It's just after hours here in the US (best time to end the campaign, we've found), so that would normally mean that Bryce says a few words and sends this update off. Since he's away having fuuun and being the social butterfly that he iiis and buying cool arrtt and eating tasty foooood and meeting up with frieeendsss... the already hardworking crew has to stay late and work even harder to make sure you folks are up-to-date (just kidding, I'm firing this off from the comfort of my own home, in comfy clothes, surrounded by cats, working through my Steam library).
As always, we cannot express how grateful we are that you guys allow us to do stuff like this! Thank you for being here, thank you for backing the campaign, and thank you for supporting human artists. Have a good weekend, and more info coming next week!

I forgot to Update! $80k Stretch Goal down!

Hey all! Bryce here! I messed up and forgot to update everyone last night despite volunteering to be the one to do so cause Heather had the afternoon off. Shocking that it would slip MY very famously iron-clad memory trap of a mind, I know 😅😅😅
We cracked the $80k USD yesterday! That means that the Standard Edition will now come with colored page edges to add just a little bit of flair to the physical display of the books!
To head off a question we've been seeing: Unfortunately, this SG will not affect the Premium Edition... Mostly because we already did most everything we could to the Premium Edition to make it what it is before we get into very expensive production territory 😅 Cloth-binding the case and slipcase alone is gone be a painful bill to receive already, ha!
But regardless, thank you to all who have backed so far! We aren't even in the last 48hrs, and we're closing in on 90k! Amazing!! Yall are the best!

Hey there everyone!
We hope the week has been treating you all well! We're going to dive right into the big stuff, then the Stretch Goal below!
THE PROBLEM
As of this week, Europe has implemented new EPR Regulations across all countries within the Union. This means that products imported from outside the EU to the EU will be subject to pay fees based on the quantity of packing materials they bring in. Rather than a single, unified solution, this is handled country by country, with registration required in each. From what we have been told, most EU nations require an in-country representative to file quarterly or annual reports on said company's behalf. While all of this does cost a lot of money, it's true, the bigger issue is that the solutions to even legally import products into the EU are very limited, complicated, and unclear, effectively making it impossible for smaller sellers to ship anything into Europe without being at risk of tens of thousands (USD) in fines per infraction.
As a result of these new regulations, Wraithmarked unfortunately has to omit a majority of regularly shipped-to countries for the time being. This is not a decision we wanted to make, but one we had to.
For the time being, if you reside in the EU, we are only able to accommodate shipping to the following countries: Germany, France, Spain, Poland, Belgium, Sweden, Italy, and Austria.
If you reside in an EU country we did not list, we're sorry, but at this time, you won't be able to pledge on this campaign.
WHAT WRAITHMARKED IS DOING GOING FORWARD
If you are a Non-US backer and you are not in the EU, you may request that your country have access to a specific tier. We must manually add that country to the requested tier if you wish to support our campaign. At this time, we will not be able to include add-on access if your country was not listed in our original list of countries (United States, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, France, Spain, Poland, Belgium, Sweden, Italy, and Austria).
HOW TO REQUEST HELP ADDING YOUR COUNTRY
Many of you have already noticed, reached out to us, and requested assistance for shipping to your country. In order for us to help you regarding pledging to 101 Artists, please submit a ticket to [email protected] with the subject line 101 ARTISTS COUNTRY REQUEST and provide us with the following information:
- The country you wish to ship this pledge to
- The specific tier you would like to back. Feel free to copy the exact title we have listed in our Rewards section on the campaign., (ex. 101 Artists Vol. 1 Standard "ALL-IN").
Please do not request your country and tier in the comments to this update, or in the comments of the main campaign page. We will only be making these changes via support ticket!
Please know that whether you are in an EU country listed above or outside the above-listed, we are actively looking for a solution that will allow us to provide this product to you guys, hopefully before the end of the campaign. The changes enacted are extremely convoluted, with very little framework and no standardizations put in place, resulting in Wraithmarked (and thousands of other small businesses) having literally no avenue by which to legally get you your products at time of writing.
Again, we are working as FAST as possible to fix that, and we ask for your patience as we look into everything.
ANOTHER IMPORTANT NOTE: In addition to this new EPR Regulation affecting the EU, we also want to take a moment to remind EU backers in those eight listed countries above that you folks are now being charged a €3 fee per type of item in a package when sent from outside the EU, as our parcels are. It's not per product (so you'd be charged the same €3 fee if your package has 1 book or 5), but a parcel including a book, bookmark, pin pack, art prints would have 4 classes of items (book, bookmark, pin pack, art prints as stated), and would potentially get hit with €12 in fees. This is not part of the shipping cost, and is a separate charge on top of VAT and other existing fees, so please be sure to take this into consideration when placing your orders and choosing your items!
As with the new shipping regulations above, Wraithmarked is actively seeking a solution to this issue as we speak, and we're hoping promptly! In the meantime, however, we ask that all EU backers please take this calculation into consideration when ordering!
We are just as frustrated with you regarding these sudden changes and we're trying to navigate it as best we can at this time. Thank you all so much for the support!
And now... for the Stretch Goal!
Earlier today, ya'll were able to push us past our first stretch goal for this campaign! Woooo! Crossing this $50k goal means that every copy of 101 Artists will now include custom-designed end sheets!
Next up at $80k, we'll unlock another upgrade to the book! This stretch goal will get us beautiful, colored page edges for that extra bit of pizzazz! We like pretty things; we hope you all do, too!
